The PRANK!

Well, Christine and I prank ed two managers at our office today!! It was so fun to do something out of the ordinary. I don't work Friday's, so I won't get to see there reaction tomorrow-BUMMER. Unfortunately, Thursday evenings are the only night that there are no managers so this was the only night we could do it.

Anne was going to go in on it too, but she chickened out! She was worried what they would do back to us. I think it would be great if we got a little pranking going on in the office, make it a little more fun-something out of the ordinary.

Christine and I decided that fasted and quickest prank we could do would be to Saran wrap the chairs, mouse pad and computers and then throw confetti everywhere. If I had more time, I would of rather of put tinfoil everywhere or wrapped everything with wrapping paper! But, this worked for now..I wonder if there will be anymore pranking going on?? Hope so.

Well I'm done with work in 20 minutes and I won't be back for 10 days!! Can't wait to go play at Lake Powell! :)

Here's some pics of our Prank!

This ROCKS!

So I LOVE the show "THE OFFICE." Seriously, who doesn't?

I'm sitting here at work, kind of bored..it's a little slow my last hour. And it got me thinking...

How fun would it be to do this to some one's cubicle?

Anne, and Christine are definitely up for it. We think we might prank our manager next week. ha ha. :) Our manger is pretty fun, and he won't mind. I bet he will think it's pretty funny too.

My manager is similar to the character Michael Scott. His name is even Mike...It jut reminded me of the office too..

These pictures are GREAT ideas!!!

The three of us can't wait for the prank-ing to begin...!

Potential Road Rash.

Funniest story of my life..seriously!

Okay, so this actually happened last year during the fall. I can't remember the exact date, but it was when I was having to go to physical therapy for my big toe. Lol that's pretty funny to. It was ridiculous going to physical therapy for a couple times a week for my big toe after my bunionectomy...and wearing that boot for 3 months?! 3 VERY long months...

Anyway that's not the story. This is:

So, one of the days when I went to physical therapy Steve and I had paid my copay and walked out the door. We got into our car and all of a sudden we see the receptionist just HAULING- barreling chaotically out the door after us.
She's waving in her hand a small white piece of paper. Steve and I look at each other wondering what she's doing. Before she reaches the parking lot she has to take a flight of stairs to reach the elevation of where the cars are parked at. She's ascends up the stairs two steps at a time. However, as she reached the top she missed the last step and started to fall forward. At this point it looks like she is going to eat concrete..breakfast, lunch and dinner. As she stumbles forward, she makes a valiant attempt to maintain her partial upright position by flailing her arms in a mad frenzy. It looked like she was going to wipe out at least 5 or 6 times as she continued forward at a rapid pace. Her momentum carried her at least 10 ft away from the top of the stairs. After she gained control, she found herself a couple feet past our car. Out of breath and red in the face, she knocks on my window and hands me the white paper and says "Here's your receipt."

I had to bite my tongue, and just smile so I wouldn't laugh hysterically. As soon as the window was rolled up and sealed shut, Steve and I laughed so hard we cried. We STILL laugh so hard to this day as we imagine that diligent receptionist trying at all expense to not experience the worst case of road rash the state has ever seen! This memory will always make me smile.

Be an Optimist.

My job did a Development week. Where we can sign up for a class that interests us. I choose to go to "Initiative starts with me."

The speaker shared an awesome story. This isn't a true story, but I loved the story so much I wanted to document it so I could go back and read it.

This is a story about two twin boys. One was a pessimist, the other an optimist. The father of the twin boys put the two boys into two separate rooms. The pessimist was put into a room full of electronic toys. He had tons of toys that he easily could be excited about and have fun with for a long time. The optimist twin was put into a room with a wheel barrel piled high with horse manure. The boy smiled when he saw what his father brought him.

A couple hours later, the pessimist twin comes crying to his father "I can't play with my toys, there is no batteries. My friends won't want to play with me now.." He kept finding fault in everything.

The father then also heard the optimist son. He was yelling excitedly "woohoo"! The father runs into the room and sees the optimist son throwing the manure everywhere. The father asks what he is doing? The optimist says "I know there's gotta be a horse in here somewhere!"

I thought the story was awesome. Its a great eye opener. It's easy to be like the pessimist when things go wrong in my life. But if I have an optimistic view, my life will be happier.
