CornBelly's Cornmaze

I LOVE Thanksgiving Point! They always have such fun stuff going on there! Friday night Steve and I went to CornBelly's with Kody and Jade, and Kris and Tina.

It was a lot of fun! Everything there was pretty much free except for the Corn maze. And the corn maze was only 3.93 a person! So it was a ton of fun, plus a super cheap date!
I also loved the smell of pumpkins and popcorn. I seriously love the smell of fall. I can't wait for the fall leaves, and for the holidays. If the weather didn't turn so cold, I would love this season even more.

While we were there we looked at a pumpkin tree, and on each side of the tree it has a theme. The themes consisted of movies, pirates, dinosaurs, and local themes. They turned out amazing! After we saw the tree, we went to a 3-d fun house. I loved it. It was for little kids, so it wasn't even scary or creepy. I hate scary things! The fun house was really cute with lots of fun colors and bubbles everywhere.
As we walked to the corn maze, Tina and I found a "chicken coop" filled with corn and sawdust. Tina and I were the only ones who wanted to go in, so we enjoyed ourselves in it. OH and Some random child decides to throw the corn and sawdust in my hoodie, and some in Tina's pants!! WHAT THE? Her mom is on the side just laughing, and saying "kids will be kids." Are you kidding me? Seriously. Steve caught the child on camera. I had no idea the child was doing this at the time...Naughty kid...

Anyway, the corn maze and thanksgiving point was a lot of fun!! I think it was a great way to start off the fall season!

Grandpa and Grandma Visit

Grandpa and Grandma Ford came to our house on Thursday night. It was so fun to have them come and visit with us. It was a perfect way to start our weekend. (Steve and I both have Friday's off now). Steve and I bought a couch and a chair, and they wanted to come and look at it. I love it. Every time they come they also bring us a goody.

We had a great time having them come and visit with us. I am super lucky to now have them as my grandparents as well. From day one when I first met them, they have always been so loving to me, and make me feel just like one of their own grand kids. Steve and I sure love them, and we can't wait to see them again soon.

Happy 3 Years to US!

Steve and I celebrated our 3 year Anniversary yesterday. Its hard to believe that already 3 years have come and gone. Steve is seriously my best friend, and I'm so happy that we are sealed for Eternity.
I didn't think that I could love him more from the day that we were married, but every day I love him more and more.
He's always so much fun to be around. He makes me smile, laugh, and makes me always want to be a better person. Steve and I can do everything and anything together and we have a great time!
Steve and I were planning on going camping this weekend for our anniversary get a way, but as we packed up and started driving, we noticed that timp was being hit with a rainstorm. Bummer.
It's alright though, I was completely content with just staying home at our place, and just spending time with one another.

Yesterday morning we woke up and surprised each other with our gifts. Steve is seriously so stinkin' cute! He hands me this letter that he wrote me, and on the letter he had underlined a couple of the words. I was clueless. I asked him what those meant, and then some music started playing. I started listening and it was the brand new COLBIE CALLAT cd! The words he had underlined were the song titles on the cd. How creative is that? I seriously loved it. He also surprised me with a hardback of the Twilight book. I have all the books but the first! Steve spoiled me.
For Steve's surprise I wrote him a poem and bought him the new Wolverine movie. I actually gave him Wolverine on Tuesday, the day it came out. Right when he came home from school he said he wanted to go out and buy it, I told him to wait that we should wait until the weekend, but he was ready to go and buy it. So, I ended up having to give it to him early. I also surprised him with a candlelight dinner! :)
Steve and I went to church, and then came home and relaxed, played games, ate our candlelight dinner and then watched an episode of The Office. I'm so grateful for you Steve! I love you! Happy 3 years! Many more to come!

Celebrating 50 years
Last weekend was a lot of fun! My grandpa and grandma Elfors rented a house for everyone in St. George. All of my cousins, and aunts and uncles were able to go. Even Alecia and Dave! (they live in TX)
We had so much fun hanging out with everyone! The house had two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, so we went swimming a lot. The pools were heated, so I was SUPER happy about that. The house also had a theatre room and an air hockey table.
We also went to the St. George outlets and went shopping. We found so many good bargains, it was crazy how cheap everything was. I found shirts for $1-5.00. and I finally found me a winter coat that fits, and I actually like it!!
Everyone got family pictures, and then we also had a big family picture taken with all the cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents. I think they turned out really nice!
And most importantly we celebrated my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary.
On Saturday night we had a surprise luau with lots of food and then did a program for them. My aunts made a program with music, and it was themed for the time frame of when they were dating, to when they were married. Everyone danced, and sang for my grandparents with costumes and all! :) It was a really fun night, my grandparents even got to cut wedding cake.
Steve and I had a great time and we can't wait for the next reunion! Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa!
