Great Grandpa Joe's 94th Birthday Bash!

We celebrated Great Grandpa's Birthday at my great Aunt Illene's house! It was so much fun being able to spend time with all the family and eat great food! We don't get to see Aunt illene's fam very much, so it was nice to catch up with everyone and see all the cute kids! I still can't believe how big everyone is getting!

Here's some fun pictures of the fun Day!!

Visiting Great Grandma Ford's

Well, the time has come where cute lil' great grandma Ford moved out of her house and is living in a home.

Grandma and Grandpa Ford had all the grandkids come over and pick out what we wanted at Great Grandma's house, since she has no more use for them.

Can I just say we found TREASURES!! Seriously. Grandma has some of the cutest jewlery I have ever seen. Totally in style too. So, I picked up a couple necklaces.

I also found this quilt that she didn't finish, so I want to put it together. :) I think when its finished it will be so nice to have something of grandma that we can cuddle with. Stevie picked up Great Grandpa's old tool box, with some pretty awesome tools.

You know it's pretty funny how different men and women are. All the girls headed straight to the jewlery/plates all the pretty things, and the men all went towards the tool stuff. Oh look it's a hammer. yeah, not so exciting. I just think it's funny.

It was fun looking through grandma's stuff with all the cousins and aunts/uncles.

We also HAD to get pics of grandma's house before they sold the cute thing.

"Hoppy" Easter!

I L*O*V*E the Holidays!! I loved that it was Easter, and General Conference.

This weekend we started off the week by going to lunch with cute Grandma Anderson. We spent the afternoon with her on Friday, and then Steve and I cleaned the house, the cars, the Ford office building, and I did I mention we cleaned??? That's seriously ALL we did on Friday. We had fun with Grandma just visiting with her and it was a nice break from all the cleaning. (Hence the fact I look like ahem, poo. Seriously.) No make up, a hat..blah. But, we sure love Grandma Anderson! I'm glad that she doesn't live too far away.

Saturday we had our annual tradition of DECORATING EASTER EGGS with our great friends, The Rappleye's. We seriously love these guys! We always have such a blast!

Our Easter eggs turned out AWESOME this year! Look at the colors!!

We had lunch, ($5 Little Cesar's Pizza, with crazy bread-SOO good) watched some conference, decorated our eggs, and of course just had a fun time hanging out. Time always goes by way too fast when we are with these guys. Because before we knew it, Steve and I had to be in Bountiful by 5:00 to meet up with Grandpa and Grandma Ford.

We met up with Grandpa and Grandma. Steve went to priesthood session with Grandpa, and I went with Grandma and met up with all the girls on Steve's side of the fam. We ate at "El Matador" a Mexican restaurant, which was really good. Then headed over to Sherrie's (Steve's aunt) for cake and some time to just hang out! I'm so happy that I was able to a girls night with everyone. Steve and Grandpa got home, so we went back to grandma's house and played games and ate WAY too much food. (I always eat so much at grandma and grandpa Ford's, it almost makes me sick!) We stayed up late just talking and enjoying each other's company.

Sunday morning came quick. Why do the weekends ALWAYS go by so much quicker than the weekdays?
Steve and I woke up to Grandma making pancakes for us. She's such a sweetheart. After breakfast, we watched conference and then I helped grandma with the Easter egg hunt.
Around noon, everyone started coming to grandma's for lunch. We had TONS of food! We all ate, talked, laughed, and enjoyed more of conference.
I love how every time I watch conference I feel so uplifted. It's amazing that each time, I always hear exactly what I needed to hear. It's like the talks were meant just for me. :)
After conference, Steve and I headed over to my parent's house. We also ate food, talked and then my mom did the Easter story with the Easter Eggs. We had a fun time with my family too!

Happy Easter!

Sleepover

I slept over at Grandma Anderson's house on Friday night. Steve went with the YM to a cabin for the night to go snow mobiling. Grandma hasn't been feeling very well lately, and I wanted to spend some time with her as well as make a video of her. I asked her a bunch of different questions about herself/her family/my grandpa etc. I'm really excited about it, I think it turned out pretty awesome. I'm going to include pictures and make it into a dvd.

Grandma and I had a great time! I loved asking her questions and finding out more information about her and my grandpa. We talked and played "Phase 10 dice." Grandma LOVED it! She loved the fact that she beat me too. ha ha. I got this cute picture of her rolling the dice! ha ha. Love this lady!

In the morning I took Grandma to go and get her errands done, and than I took her to my parents house so she could spend time with my parents! I had so much fun with Grandma! I just love her to death!

Bingo! Bingo!

Yesterday, (Wed) I was able to get off work for just a couple hours so that I could go and play bingo with my Great Grandpa Joe.

Lately I've seriously been getting strong feelings that I need to spend time with my grandparents. I don't know if it's because I've been reading my grandpa Anderson's journal, or what it is. I just can't get enough of spending time with them. My great Grandpa Joe turns 95 this year, and so, I know that I have limited time with him.

My mom and I met up with him at his home that he's staying at and we played bingo with him. Grandpa can't see very well, mostly just shadows and things on the side. So, he wouldn't be able to play bingo without anyone helping him. Grandpa is seriously one of the luckiest guys I know! He won 2 times and my mom says that every time she goes (every wed) he never loses. It's really cute he says "bingo-bingo"! When he won we were telling him what he could chose from, and he said "I'll take the popcorn, you like popcorn don't ya? and then he said he won it for me." so cute. I seriously love Grandpa so much.
After bingo we had lunch with Grandpa, and told him we will see him soon. He said he really appreciates us. We really appreciate him.

I headed back into work and worked until 6pm and then met Steve and the YW/YM at the visitors center so we could watch the "Joseph Smith" movie. I love this movie! I've seen it once when it first came out, and each time I've seen it I get more out of it. I love this movie, it strengthens my testimony even more. I know I've said this before but I LOVE the YW program.

P.S. I have the CUTEST video of Grandpa ever on my phone, but I can't figure out to send it from my phone to my computer. I've tried sending it via text to my email but it doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas how I can get it on my computer? I really want to add it to this post. :)
