Happy Birthday to me!

Happy Birthday to me! :) I turned the big 25 on Monday! I can't believe I'm already that old. I know it's not really that old, but it just seems like it to me...

My birthday turned out awesome! Thanks to Steve, all my family members and friends. I really appreciated all the birthday wishes and gifts.

On my Birthday Steve and I went out to breakfast, so I didn't have to cook. :)

Then we spent the day at the zoo. I'm totally a kid at heart. I love going and seeing all the animals. My favorite was seeing the baby elephant. The zoo was a ton of fun! And it was great just spending time with my best friend.

We call this guy below Java the Hut. ha ha! What are they feeding him??

This cutie smiled for the camera!
You can't go to the zoo without taking one of these pics!

After the zoo we went over to Bob and Ellens house. Ellen made me Navajo tacos for my birthday dinner and chocolate cake! Of course it was delish, and I really appreciated her making me dinner. Then we played 3-13, one of my very favorite card games! It was a super fun birthday!

The night before we celebrated Grandma Anderson's 86th birthday. Not a lot of people are lucky enough to celebrate their birthday with there grandma. Grandma and I have celebrated our birthdays for forever. Grandma's is on the 30th, mine is the 31st. We had a family party/bbq on sunday night with all the relatives! It was so much fun being with grandma and with all the Anderson side. Steve and I are so lucky to have so many awesome family members! It was a super fun birthday! Happy 2-5 to me! Woot woot!

Women's Conference 2010 and then some...

This weekend was AWESOME!!! I got to start my week off by going to Women's Conference with my cute mom in-law Ellen. I remember going to women's conference a long time ago with my mom and my sisters and doing a service project. I thought it was a fun experience, but this time I got more out of it. I'm sure it has everything to do with the fact that I'm older now. I was able to go to so many classes. It was such an awesome experience. I needed an uplifting weekend. The talks I swear were meant just for me. :) It was great just seeing ladies everywhere and no men! It's pretty neat looking around knowing that all the women who were there were all there for the same reason-to be uplifted. I loved everything about the experience. We listened to talks, sang, and also did a service project. I can't wait to go again next year. I wish they did women's conference every month!
My mom was there too and I got to be with her for the opening and closing ceremony too, it was fun having both of them with me!

Saturday, Steve and I got to go to my friend Krystal's couples baby shower. Which I thought was completely awesome that it was couples. I never heard of a couples baby shower before, and I think it was really fun! It was fun seeing her and her cute prego belly! :) Which I'm totally jealous of by the way. But it was so fun to see some friends from high school that I seriously haven't seen since high school. It was neat seeing what everyone was up to and what life is in store for everyone.

After the shower we headed to Logan to meet up with Jason and Shannon. We wanted to see them before they moved to Canada for the summer. We had such a fun time with them! We love these two and we will miss them for sure! Thank goodness it's only for the summer. ;)
Some things we did while we were there...
We ate way too much food, played lots of UNO, Shannon gave us a tour- ha ha, Drove around Logan, watched the Jazz game, Hastings, Wii, lots of talking, sleeping in.

What a fun and uplifting weekend! Too bad the weekends always go so much more quicker than the weekdays!

Oh and something completely RANDOM the past 2 weekends I've been told I look like I'm between the ages of 12-17! :( I know it's supposed to be a compliment to look young, but c'mon ppl! Okay, What do I need to change? my hair? my clothes? my makeup? I can't change my baby face.

"Hoppy" Easter!

I L*O*V*E the Holidays!! I loved that it was Easter, and General Conference.

This weekend we started off the week by going to lunch with cute Grandma Anderson. We spent the afternoon with her on Friday, and then Steve and I cleaned the house, the cars, the Ford office building, and I did I mention we cleaned??? That's seriously ALL we did on Friday. We had fun with Grandma just visiting with her and it was a nice break from all the cleaning. (Hence the fact I look like ahem, poo. Seriously.) No make up, a hat..blah. But, we sure love Grandma Anderson! I'm glad that she doesn't live too far away.

Saturday we had our annual tradition of DECORATING EASTER EGGS with our great friends, The Rappleye's. We seriously love these guys! We always have such a blast!

Our Easter eggs turned out AWESOME this year! Look at the colors!!

We had lunch, ($5 Little Cesar's Pizza, with crazy bread-SOO good) watched some conference, decorated our eggs, and of course just had a fun time hanging out. Time always goes by way too fast when we are with these guys. Because before we knew it, Steve and I had to be in Bountiful by 5:00 to meet up with Grandpa and Grandma Ford.

We met up with Grandpa and Grandma. Steve went to priesthood session with Grandpa, and I went with Grandma and met up with all the girls on Steve's side of the fam. We ate at "El Matador" a Mexican restaurant, which was really good. Then headed over to Sherrie's (Steve's aunt) for cake and some time to just hang out! I'm so happy that I was able to a girls night with everyone. Steve and Grandpa got home, so we went back to grandma's house and played games and ate WAY too much food. (I always eat so much at grandma and grandpa Ford's, it almost makes me sick!) We stayed up late just talking and enjoying each other's company.

Sunday morning came quick. Why do the weekends ALWAYS go by so much quicker than the weekdays?
Steve and I woke up to Grandma making pancakes for us. She's such a sweetheart. After breakfast, we watched conference and then I helped grandma with the Easter egg hunt.
Around noon, everyone started coming to grandma's for lunch. We had TONS of food! We all ate, talked, laughed, and enjoyed more of conference.
I love how every time I watch conference I feel so uplifted. It's amazing that each time, I always hear exactly what I needed to hear. It's like the talks were meant just for me. :)
After conference, Steve and I headed over to my parent's house. We also ate food, talked and then my mom did the Easter story with the Easter Eggs. We had a fun time with my family too!
