My First.....
It was a complete accident though, (yea, yea that's what they all say right?) Well, I was driving to midge's basketball game with my mamasita. My mom looks over at me and say's "Keira why are you going so fast?" I said "Mom, I'm only going 5 over. They won't pull you over for going five over." (I was going 70) Mom says "No, Keira the speed limit is only 55!" "Mom".... I look in my rear view mirror and sure enough, I see the bright red flashing lights. I was going to have a heart attack! Okay, when was bangeter highway's speed only 55?
Yep, I got my first speeding ticket. I couldn't talk my way out of it. I was too in shock to realize what the blast was going on anyway. The officer was nice though, and he only put me for going 5 over. I deserve the ticket, I'm just a little bummed.
Oh and FYI-for going 5 over, it's $85.00!!! sheesh!

On a side note...
Thanks everyone for the great advice/comments from my last post. That helped me out a lot. It's great to know that I'm not the only one who is/had those feelings regarding babies. :) It's such a HUGE descision, and if you have any other advice regarding what helped you prepare, let me know. Thanks Again!

Baby Blues
No, I'm not prego, nor was I ever. Steve and I aren't even trying for kids right now. (Hopefully soon though.)
I have this little nagging feeling to get on the band wagon and start our little family. Everywhere I go, I see babies, and I swear that little feeling inside is saying get on it!
I went shopping for baby clothes with my mom in law a couple weeks ago to find a baby outfit for my cute cousin. I loved looking at all the baby stuff, and all the cute little things. Made me wish that I was picking up stuff for me and Steve's lil' one.
Steve and I have been preparing to start our family, and Steve is just as anxious as I am, but it seems like our preparing is taking FOREVER! I know, it's a great idea to plan a head. I'm always up for planning and being prepared, but i'm ready to be a mom.
Doesn't everyone get those feelings when ITS time?
Okay, I feel much better now.

Elder Anderson is HOME!!
I can't believe my brother is already home. Seems like yesterday that we just took him to the MTC. (I'm sure my mom would tell you otherwise though).
Well, we started the fun on Wednesday night. My mom and I went and bought yellow poster board and yellow paper plates to decorate our house, a long with the power poles down the street from us. It was lots of fun getting ready for him to come home! Also, my brother Kody (who lives in Washington) was able to come home too! I was so happy to see him.
Then yesterday, 02-19-09, All of the family met up at the airport. Kris's flight was supposed to come in at 10:00 am, but we got lucky, and his flight landed 15 minutes early! When he came down the escalator everyone started cheering for him, and all of the other missionaries that were coming home.
I know that he loves his mission, and that he was a wonderful missionary. When he came off the escalator we were able to give him a hug, it was so cute though, he wanted to first just shake all of our hands.
After we picked him up we were able to go back to my parents house and talk and catch up with Kris. He showed us pictures of his mission, and told us about his experiences in Chicago.
I just couldn't get enough of him! I followed him around everywhere. he he. :)
Our family was able to also go out to lunch at Gecko's and then go to Midge's (Kjersti) church basketball game. She did awesome!! It was so fun to have all of the family together again. (minus Jade, and baby Carson)-Can't wait to see you two on Tuesday!!
Then we had dinner, and I made chocolate chip cookie dough brownies! YUMMY!
Kris then had lots of phone calls and lots of visitors. Everyone was so excited to see him! Gosh I love him!
What a fun day!! I'm so happy to have him home. I'm so proud of him too, I know he changed a lot of people's lives.
P.S. I'll post pictures later when I get home!

wow is my hubby a cutie!! I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband! Steve has always been a little romancer, from day one. He is always doing the sweetest things for me. Not only on valentines day does he always surprise me, but every day of the week he is constantly showing me that he loves me. For example, he always gets up extra early and starts my car up for me before I have to go in for work and scrapes off the snow and ice on my windshield. Or I'll come home from work and find a note on the counter or open the pantry and find my favorite bag of flaming hot Cheetos! He always is showing love for me. I'm so blessed to have such an amazing husband.
On Valentines Day Steve surprised me with some roses (I've always been a sucker for those!) and then awhile ago I told him how much I would love to have a CTR ring. I completely forgot that I had mentioned it to him and he surprised me with one! It's so pretty! It has two hearts on each side of the CTR. -perfect for v-day!
I surprised Steve with a poster board card with candy/candy bars on it, and then gave him some cuff links, that he has been wanting for a long time.
Steve and I played games and watched a movie (our favorite things to do together). We had a great time spending time with each other.
I love you Steve! Thanks again for being such an amazing hubby!

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas & A Happy New Year!
We can't believe the holidays have come and gone! Every year it seems as though the time speeds up around the holidays. But we sure had a wonderful Christmas and a great new year!
With Steve's finals complete and time off of school, it was finally time to play and relax! We were able to go with the Ford's to a Christmas play and dinner on the 18th at Deseret Star Theater. That was a lot funny with great food. We then had many family Christmas parties including the annual extended Anderson and Ford family Christmas parties. It was great to see family, eat good food and enjoy little programs. Aside from the family gatherings we had a lot of fun making and decorating our first gingerbread house together. It was hard to complete the house with the two of us eating the decorations :)
Christmas eve we went to Grantsville with the Anderson/Elfors family. There we were able to enjoy seeing family, participate in a program, play bingo, and open our annual Christmas pajamas! This year the pajamas were themed. Steve and I received BYU themed/colored pjs. Chris (brother-in-law) and Kart received Utah themed/colored pjs along with the rest of the kids. I guess Steve and I are the "blue" sheep of the family!
Christmas day we woke up to find our stocking plump full! Santa had come!!! Steve surprised me by getting up in the middle of the night and filling the stockings with candy and a note he had organized days before. That was a fun surprise! Our Christmas this year was a TV and an entertainment center we bought from our great friends Tim and Marie. It has been a fun Christmas especially watching movies and bowl games on it!
Christmas was definitely a white one. As we left our house we could barely make it out of the driveway and down the street because of all of the snow we received. Christmas morning and early afternoon was spent over at the Ford's. It was a lot of fun opening presents, eating an amazing breakfast keish, talking with Preston (aka Elder Ford), and just enjoying the morning. We then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening over at the Anderson's. We also enjoyed opening presents, eating a great dinner and talking with Kristoffer (Elder Anderson). Overall, it was a great Christmas!
The following day Steve went in for surgery. He had an inguinal hernia. The surgery went well although he was in a lot of pain for the following week. So, with him home bound we've been playing games and watching more holiday shows. It's been a great holiday season and it's back to school, work and a new year!
