Steve and I at the Homecoming
Kolten, Kris and Kody-all together again!

Steve and Kris

Good times with Family and Friends
This weekend was super busy, but lots of fun. Friday night Steve had a regional church ball game, because his team won the first game on Thursday night. WOOT WOOT! Steve did an AWESOME job! I love watching him play. :) Steve's family met up with us after Jason (Steve's bro) picked up mom and dad Ford from the airport. They went to New Zealand for a couple weeks for a nice vacation together. Steve and I stayed with lil'whittle and had a lot of fun with her! I'll have to write about that on another post...
Anywho, so we all watched Steve's game, unfortunatley Steve's team lost, and a lot of the time the ref was makeing some LAME-O calls. oh well, what can you do? I swear he was on a power trip or something...
After the game we were able to go out to dinner to Salsaledos as a family and listen to the fun stories that Bob and Ellen had on there trip. Once we were all done eating we headed over to the Ford's house and they showed us the souiveners they got, and then gave us all gifts.
Steve got these really nice board shorts, he's been needing some for a long time. Then they gave me this really pretty green stone necklace. I LOVE it! It's way pretty huh? The Stones all have meaning, mine is Rua Rua: Represents a bonding of friendship, two lives becoming one for all eternity. Keeps away illness, bad fortune and wards off evil spirits.

Saturday Steve and I went to Costco with my dad and was able to help him get things ready for Kris's homecoming. It was fun spending time with him, he's so fun to be around and he always has lots of good advice. After grocery shopping, Steve and I went and picked up midge to take her over to the Ford's house to help us get Whit ready for her junior prom. Kjersti and Ellen curled whit's hair while I painted her fingernails. It was fun helping Whit, and she looked so pretty in her dress! And midge did an AWESOME job on Whit's hair!!

Once Whit left, Steve and I met up with our good friends the Bowmans. We met them at Chili's and had a great time visiting with them, then we headed over to there place and played Mario Cart and Wii fit. Wii fit is SOOO fun! We loved hanging out with you Todd and Laris!

Sunday morning came fast. We went to Kris's homecoming, and listened to him speak. Wow, my brother is amazing. He sure grew up fast from his mission. He did an amazing job, I could listen to him all day. His testimony really touched me, and it makes me want to be a better person. I'm so grateful that he went on a mission, and I know that what he learned on his mission will be with him for the rest of his life.
We had lots of family and friends come over to my parent's house after church and had breakfast. It was fun to see all of our family and friends support Kris. I just love family!
Then the Ford's invited us over for dinner, so once we left my parents house we went there and had a yummy meal from mom ford, and had fun spending time together. They rented the movie "Australia" and let Steve and I borrow it, so once we came home we watched that. I LOVED that movie! It's sooo good. It was really nice to just relax and spend time with my hubby!

It's Mon-Fri. No weekends. You don't work most holidays but you don't get paid for them either. I'm sure the pay depends on the individual and is something you'd have to talk about in the interview but I imagine it would be anywhere from 8-11 an hour. It's a pretty laid back office. Mostly women, a lot of people bring their kids into work. An easy job if you're just looking for a little extra work. Let me know if you're interested, I can have my boss set up an interview with you. I'd love to work with ya :)
