Making Stockings with MOM
Last weekend was a lot of fun spending time with my mom. We were able to go to some stores together and get Christmas stuff, and then we made Christmas Stockings for my brother and brother in law. They are both on their missions right now, so we thought it would be a cute christmas present to make them both stockings and fill it with goodies.
If it wasn't for my cute mom in law, who helped me figure out how to work my sewing machine, my mom and I wouldn't of been able to sew them.
I got a sewing machine a couple years ago, and then lost the instructions, so I've been just storing it in our closet.
I'm so excited that we got it working! I can't wait to start sewing little projects!

All in All, My mom and I had a great time spending time together! And, I think the stockings turned out pretty cute too!

THANKFUL

I can't believe how fast this year is going, and that Thanksgiving has come and gone. Steve and I had a fun Thanksgiving spending time with the Ford fam this year. (We switch off holidays with my fam and his) We were able to go to the family cabin and have a relaxing week/weekend playing games, reading, going for a couple of walks and of course eating LOTS of yummy food.

My very favorite thing about thanksgiving(besides the food) is that everyone sits down as a family and we all discuss what we are thankful for and for all the great blessings we have in our life.

Just a few things of what Steve and I are grateful for:

*The Gospel
*Our Eternal Marriage
*Our Families & Friends
*Our Home
*We are both Healthy
*Have a great Job & good education opportunities
*Working Vehicles
*Temples that are close

Steve and I are very blessed, and we feel very grateful to Heavenly Father, for everything that he has given us.

Once we came home from the cabin we were able to set up our Christmas tree, and decorations while we watched Charlie Brown. I LOVE Christmas shows!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Twilight and Steve's 25th Birthday!

Steve and I were able to go to Twilight on Thursday at 8:00 pm! We were spoiled by our landlords! Our Landlords daughter rented out a theatre for family and friends to go see the show early! It was so much fun! I LOVED the movie! Steve really liked it to. We both want to go see it again. We both thought that the characters and the movie portrayed the book really well! I loved the movie, but I still think the books are better....but books are always better than the movie!

We celebrated Steve's Birthday yesterday! Poor guy had to take a 5 hr test in the testing center. So, the beginning of his day wasn't that great. But, after school and work we were able to go to Tepanyaki with our friends Todd and Larissa. It is SO good! I recommend this place to everyone! They cook the food right in front of you, so it's food and entertainment all in one.
After dinner we went back to our place and had some cake and talked!
Happy Birthday Steve!

We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!(I'll post pictures Later)

Real-Life Furby discovered
I saw this and thought it was awesome! So, I wanted to share it with everyone. It looks creepy, but cute at the same time. This little guy is a Pygmy Tarsier, they were thought to be extinct but were found alive in the forested highlands of an Indonesian island for the first time in more than 70 years.

Election Day
Today was Election Day! I'm so happy that I was able to vote today. This is the first year that I put my vote in. I've never been interested in voting or politics. Politics have always been boring, and I never understand what they are talking about. Well this year, (thanks to my hubby) I've been more interested in what's going on and how lucky I am that I have the right to vote. We really are a blessed nation to be able to put our say in and be able to vote.
I've realized that it's important that we vote and voice are opinions, because they do matter.
God bless America!
