Disneyland Trip part 4-SEAWORLD!

Thursday, the 21st: Woke up and drove to SEAWORLD! I've always wanted to go to Seaworld! This was my very first time at Seaworld, so I was giddy like a little kid. No joke. I couldn't wait to see the dolphins and Shamu! This was a dream come true. I LOVE animals and seeing animals, so it wasn't a surprise to me that Seaworld would be one of my favorite places.

We got to the park and saw so many fun things!

Here's what we did at Seaworld:

First stop.

The Clyde and Seamore Show (Sealion and Sea Otter)

Waiting for the show to start!
Biff was also in the show, but pre-show he would scare people with a Shamu puppet. It was really funny and Steve LOVED watching him scare people!

Next up.

Blue Horizon (Dolphins & Pilot Whales)

This show was probably one of my very favorites! It was so awesome! Dolphins, whales, birds, acrobatic performers and trainers all did tricks for us!

We of course had to eat. So we stopped and ate and I couldn't help but get a picture of this cookie shaped like Shamu!! SO cute!!

After we ate we made our way to the Shamu Stadium to see...

Believe (Killer Whales aka. SHAMU)
Can you believe something that big can jump out the water like that??

This was my very favorite part of the entire show. When everyone yells "Shamu-Shamu doo-doo-doo-doo" And Shamu swims around the tank and sprays the audience!

Hands down. Favorite show at Seaworld.-Steve's too.

We also saw...

Sea Otters
Super cute lil' guy! I wish I could of fed them!!

Starfish

The Salt Water Aquarium

A fun filled day to say the least! I loved my first day at Seaworld! Heck, if we lived in San Diego someone sign me up to be a dolphin trainer. No joke!

Palm Springs (where the resort was) is 2 1/2 hours from Seaworld. We were all tired from driving and wanted to just stay the night in San Diego. So we found a nice little hotel and stayed the night. That way when we woke up we would only be 10 minutes from Seaworld!

Hanging out in our Hotel room

Deni wanted to come and say goodnight to us. She's such a sweet heart. I loved when she would come cuddle with me. She's a little cuddle bug.

What a fun day!

Disneyland Trip part 3-Resort

Wednesday, the 20th: Was a well needed RELAXATION day for all of us! We spent the day at the resort! After breakfast Steve and I went to the gym and played a game of H-O-R-S-E. Then we just shot hoops for a little bit.
We went back to the room and played 3-13 with Tim and Marie. LOVE playing games! Especially 3-13.
Marie and I stayed indoors majority of the day since it was cold outside, but Tim and Steve wanted to hangout on the slides! It was a well needed relaxation day with nothing planned. Just relax and do whatever we want!

Here's some pics of the Palm Canyon Resort and Spa:

Disneyland Trip Part 2

Tuesday, the 19th: We woke up, had breakfast and was on the road again! on our way to DISNEYLAND!
Right when we pulled into the Disney parking lot it started RAINING. Raining like crazy! A complete down pour. UGH. I HATE being cold and wet more than anything!!! I wanted to make the best of it though, because we were at Disneyland.
We bought ponchos and umbrellas. Whatever would help the situation. We already paid for our two day hopper pass, so we couldn't just leave the park. Well, we could of, but we would of been out our money.
Unfortunately, the entire day it rained-off and on. It never stopped. SO this day wasn't my favorite. All of us were a little grumpy from being wet and cold. Besides trying to stay dry we managed to still go on some rides and have a little fun! We also spent most of the day at California Adventures.

Here's some of the things we did:

Met Goofy!
Cute lil' Deni with Goofy! Look how happy she is to meet him!

More Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Took Deni to see the The Disney Princesses

Saw lots of Disney Villains

CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

Mike and Sulley to the Rescue
I love Monsters Inc. This is one of the cutest rides!!! The ride takes you around the monsters world.

Bugs Life-Perspective of a bugs world

"It's Tough to be a Bug 3d"
We took the top pic in 2007 and took the same pic this trip!

Our ponchos are so attractive! ;) This 3d show is so creative! You really feel like the bugs are coming right at you!

Eating Popcorn

Toy Story Midway Mania
One of the best rides! It's a 3d ride that you get to play games throughout the entire ride.

California Screamer
Love this Ride! BUT because it was raining it felt like nails hitting your face because we were going so fast. I'm trying to hide my face from the rain. Funny thing, I got off this ride and because it was raining so hard, my makeup was completely off. It looked like I was a wet raccoon.

Tower of Tower

I am so. scared. of heights.-I didn't ride this one. Tim and Steve did and they had a blast!

Before we knew it both parks were closing. We were all pretty tired anyway. And tired of being in the rain. I think we all felt a little gipped about not getting a full day's in at Disney and California since it was raining so much. BUT I'm still glad we got to go!
