Best Day Ever!

We found out this morning that Steve is accepted to the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN NEVADA! We are THRILLED!!! I'm so super proud of him! He start's the end of August! :)

We celebrated by going to Tepanyaki Japanese Grill and spending time together!

We seriously feel so grateful to Heavenly Father for helping us get this far, and that we don't have to move away from home!

Knitting.

So I may have started a new hobby. Knitting.

One of the ladies I visit teach is always making a scarf. Really cute scarves too. So, I asked her if she could show me how to knit. It should be easy right?

Holy toledo. It's so hard for me right now! My fingers just can't seem to hold the needles right! It just seems sooo akward. Terry showed me how to do it, with quick easy steps and she makes it look sooo easy. She said it takes lots of practice.

I'm excited to see my scarf when it's finished. If I finish...sheesh.

If any of you knit-What's the easiest way you hold you're needles?

Night with Little Man.

Gosh. I love this kid.

P.s. I promise I got ready today..but that's what you look like after getting only a couple of hours of sleep the night before. (My cyst joyfully burst last night! Good news is-it's gone!!)

Lightbulb.

You know. I've been thinking. I'm always thinking....

Why didn't I realize this sooner?

I've been battling the fact that I don't have a little bambino in my life for quite awhile now. Where I've really felt down and discouraged. When really it all makes sense in the scheme of things. Steve is going to be in school for 3 years. 3 years!! Pharmacy school is super intense and I've heard nothing but the fact that it completely keeps him busy. Busy time means-not as much me and him time.
Steve hasn't been excepted yet in pharmacy school, but I just keep getting these feelings that we are going to have change in our life.
You know, generally I don't do well with change. But, I've felt at peace.

Last night Steve and I had FHE and I read in the Ensign-The Savior's Compassion by S. Kent Brown. The story is about the miracle of the apostles catching multiple fish. When I've heard that story before that's all I've really thought about it, it was a great miracle. But, the story goes into deeper meaning eventually getting to the point that the Savior was really looking out for the apostles and for all of their families while they were going to dedicate their lives to the gospel. In that location it was common for fish to be pickled, allowing them to be good for a long time. So, that amount of fish in those size of boats helped the apostles families be financially stable while the apostles did the Lords work.

This story really opened my eyes. It's so easy to look at what's going on now and not really see the whole picture for things. Why are things happening the way they are or not for that matter? The way that I want them to? It's easy. It's all in the Lord's time. I really know that Steve and I haven't had a baby yet because this time is me and him time. 3 years in school really isn't that long. But, we've been able to build a strong relationship with the years that we've had just me and him time. No babies. Makes complete sense. The Lord does have compassion over me, and us. I just needed to soften my heart to get that answer.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Steve and I had the opportunity to go bowling with Regence today. My job seriously amazes me all the time at all the great things they do.

Steve and I watched the show-Secret Millionaire last Sunday and it seriously touched us. If you haven't seen the show, you need to. It made us really want to do more service and help those in need. We obviously can't go and start giving out money, but we can help in other ways.

Luckily for us, my job said they needed volunteers to go bowling for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. How it worked was you get a team of five people and everyone bowls as best as you can because the score you get is the amount that the company will donate.

It was so much fun!! We were able to bowl for 2 and a half games. They gave us food and even did a raffle drawing! I won tickets to a Real soccer game in May. We are pretty excited about that! We've never gone before! :)

We had a great time, and it was good to know we were helping out our community. We want to keep doing stuff like this. Plus, when your doing service-you forget about yourself. Which I definitely need. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in what's going on in our life.

Steve's Interview.

Steve's interview went really, really well. As well as he could of hoped for! So we feel super excited and blessed.
He had an orientation meeting to start off the interview process, which went a couple of hours. The orientation talked about the program, and the admittance process. To be honest, we are a little stressed over the cost-okay, mostly me. But, I know that if he does get in heavenly father will watch over us and help us.
After the orientation Steve had a little bit of time before his actual interview, so he took a tour of the campus. The tour was given by students that are currently in the program. While on the tour he was able to question some of the students about how there interview was and what questions might be asked. :)
After the tour, it was time for the interview. In the interview room there was a professor of the program and a first year student. Steve was able to connect with both, and even got them laughing a couple times! (Way to go babe! ;) ) Steve said he felt confident and was at ease the whole time.
We find out anytime from now until May 13th! We are so excited!

Bieber Fever?

Baby..Baby..Baby...OOOH!!
I think me and my sisters have Bieber Fever! ha ha! :)

On Tuesday, me, my mom and sisters all had a girls night out and we went and saw the Justin Beiber movie. It was SO good. Seriously. After you see the movie, it makes you want to go and listen to all the songs! If only we could all go to the actual concert!

We all loved the movie, and me and Jess were singing the songs through out the movie! No, I'm not ashamed. ha ha!

Loved the movie and Loved spending time with my fam! Love all of you!

P.s. Kris and Jess are getting married on April 21st! We are thrilled to have Jess apart of the fam!
